I wonder what it'll be like viewing the stars and constellations from so close to the equator? Firstly it'll be odd not being able to view Polaris, and secondly there'll be a host of unfamiliar constellations from the Southern Hemisphere. I thought it would be fun to make an astronomy 'cloud' to use as a visual guide that I can download onto my phone - in case we get lost!
click on a constellation name for a selection of Google pictures of that constellation or name
Thought it funny that this 'cloud' was for some reason missing Crux, the Southern Cross, which is probably the most important southern constellation as it's used to find the South Pole. Made sense to update it.
